Lost Cole Crops

IMG_3966Lost all my cole crops after a 5 inch rain, they either drowned or caught a disease?  Above is my brocolli and below my cabbage.   IMG_3961

June Garden 2013

garden-June13Peas are finished with four pickings.  Snowpeas were still blooming so I left them and tilled the rest and planted late corn.  Here I am weeding the strawberry beds.  Pepper field is on the left and cole crops and onions in the back.  I do have some squash and cucks coming on!

Third Pea Picking

Third Pea Picking

Third picking was bigger than expected…and a fourth is on the way.

Pea Row

Peas were not a complete fail, we have a few meals but don’t expect to freeze any.  The vines failed to grow and now that they are growing it is time for the heat.  I blame the bunny, who chewed them early on.

1 Row of snow peas surronded by 2 rows of green peas.

This is the second picking...will have one more about this size.
